Allison Songstad

Allison Songstad serves as the Manager of NanoString University and Senior Product Enablement Scientist at NanoString Technologies, Inc., since June 2018. In this role, Songstad focuses on developing and enhancing training programs that foster customer autonomy and improve internal training for employees and business partners. Prior experiences include serving as a Senior Field Application Scientist, where Songstad supported client relations in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors and was instrumental in launching the Stem Cell Gene Expression Panel. Songstad's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Abilene Christian University. Previous research roles include a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, alongside internships at Sigma-Aldrich.
