Jürgen M. Schneider

Jürgen M. Schneider is a seasoned professional in intellectual property and licensing, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global IP & Licensing at QIAGEN since January 2006. Schneider has played a crucial role in QIAGEN's growth, a market leader in HPV diagnostics and RNA & DNA purification, which reports an annual turnover of nearly 2 billion USD. Additionally, Schneider has been the Geschäftsführer of QIAGEN Hamburg GmbH since June 2020 and previously held the position of Senior Patent Counsel at Bayer AG from August 1995 to December 2005. Schneider holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and a Dipl. Chem. in Polymer Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth.
