David Jennings, CFA, CAIA is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in investment strategy, equity research, and economic analysis. David currently works as a Senior Investment Strategist at QIC, where they provide strategic guidance for investment decision-making. Prior to their current role, David worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at MLC Australia, where they managed multi-asset portfolios. David also has experience as an independent consultant, providing research and advice to equity strategy research franchises. David has held equity strategist positions at Deutsche Bank, Nomura, and Commonwealth Bank, where they conducted macroeconomic research, recommended equity allocations, and wrote about investment themes. David began their career as an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia, where they covered various economies, conducted research on monetary policy, and co-authored a published working paper on identifying monetary policy shocks. David holds the CFA and CAIA designations.
David Jennings, CFA, CAIA completed their Bachelor of Economics degree in Economics at the University of New South Wales from 2003 to 2006. David then pursued further education at the CFA Institute, where they obtained their CFA designation from 2008 to 2011. In 2011-2012, they attended the CAIA Institute and obtained their CAIA designation. Later, in 2014-2015, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at the University of Cambridge.
