Scott Drummond has a strong background in finance and risk management. Scott currently works as the Manager of Private Markets Risk at QIC since December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Finance, Governance, and Risk at Mates4Mates from April 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Mates4Mates, Scott worked at Aspen Insurance Group as the Head of Planning for Aspen Re from November 2016 to September 2018. Scott also has experience at Swiss Re, where they served as the Vice President of M&A Projects Analyst in the Life Capital Segment from April 2014 to October 2016.

Scott's earlier work experience includes time at EY as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services from July 2011 to April 2014 and at Deloitte as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance - Insurance and Asset Management from August 2007 to June 2011.

Scott Drummond, FCA CFA FGIA, has an extensive education history spanning various institutions and fields of study. In 2010, they earned the title of CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute, with a focus on Investments and Securities. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, Scott completed their ACA Chartered Accountancy Training at ICAEW. Their undergraduate studies were pursued at The University of Queensland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy & e-Commerce) from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (Drama) from the same university, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their academic achievements, Scott Drummond has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they received the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute. In 2019, they became a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and they also became a Member of CAANZ (CA) through the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2013, they achieved the prestigious title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from the CFA Institute. Their earliest fellowship, obtained in 2010, was Fellow of ICAEW (ACA) from the ICAEW.
