Jarrod Parker

Jarrod Parker has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Jarrod started their career at Rehame as an Accountant and HR Administrator in 1996, and worked there until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Management Accountant at Media Monitors and later as a Corporate Accountant at International All Sports.

In 2008, Parker joined Colonial First State Global Asset Management as a Property Accountant, where they provided accurate and timely management reporting. Jarrod also worked as a Projects and Support Analyst, managing the storage reporting function across a portfolio of 40 shopping centers. Jarrod drove the improvement of the Strategic Asset Plan and implemented a standardized format for center data analysis.

In 2015, Parker joined Vicinity Centres as a National Storage and Centre Planning Manager. Jarrod managed storage income for 100 shopping centers and successfully drove the strategic asset planning process. Jarrod also served as the National Storage and Internet Onselling Manager, where they introduced notional rates for centers, conducted management reporting, and implemented site audits and training.

Since 2019, Parker has been working at QIC. Jarrod initially held the role of National Commercial Manager, where they managed carpark, electricity, and storage income. Jarrod provided commercial direction and delivered projects to upgrade center performance and valuation. Currently, they serve as the National Manager- Electricity and Telecommunication, managing electricity on-selling budget, driving electricity purchasing strategy, and formulating the implementation strategy for electric vehicle chargers.

Overall, Parker has proven skills in financial management, strategic planning, project delivery, and commercial analysis, with extensive experience in the retail and asset management sectors.

Jarrod Parker attended La Trobe University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Asia Pacific Studies degree with a focus on Accounting and Chinese (Mandarin). Furthermore, they also attended CPA from 2006 to 2009, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
