Rob Jones

Rob Jones has a diverse work experience. Rob is currently working as a Director at QIC since October 2022. Rob is also a Member of the University Senate at The University of Queensland since January 2022. In addition, they hold the position of Chair Of The Board Of Directors at UQ Holdings Pty Limited, starting from May 2020. Previously, they served as the Chairperson - Audit and Risk Management Committee at Ipswich City Council from February 2020 onwards. Rob is the Director of Robjay Consulting Pty Ltd since June 2018. Moreover, they have served as a Member of Council at St John's College within the University of Queensland since January 2018. Prior to that, they were an Advisory Board Member at Griffith University- Business School Strategic Advisory Board from June 2016 to January 2022, and also an Advisory Board Member at CCIQ - Policy Advisory Board from May 2016 to February 2020. Further, they served as a Member of the Interim Management Committee at Ipswich City Council from August 2018 to December 2019. Lastly, they were an Advisory Board Member at Sunshine Coast Economic Futures Board from May 2014 to June 2018.

Rob Jones attended the Anglican Church Grammar School from 1970 to 1974. After completing their schooling, they enrolled at The University of Queensland from 1975 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Business Finance.
