Valerie T. has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Senior Analyst in Regulatory Affairs and Compliance at QIC. Valerie T. obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law from The University of Queensland, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. Valerie then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2015. Subsequently, Valerie completed their Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution at The University of Queensland, from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Valerie also holds certifications. Valerie became an Allied member of ANZIIF in June 2017 and obtained a certification in Compliance and Compliance Risk Management from RMIA - Risk Management Institute of Australasia in June 2023.
