Lizzy Johnston

Lizzy Johnston is a dedicated professional in the fields of health systems and behavioral research, with a focus on cancer survivorship. Currently serving as the Manager and Team Leader in Survivorship Research at Cancer Council Queensland since November 2021, Lizzy also holds roles as a Research Affiliate and former Visiting PhD Student at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. Additionally, Lizzy has been a Visiting Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) since January 2023 and previously worked as a Sessional Academic. With a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, including experience as a Student Dietitian across various clinical settings, Lizzy has conducted significant research on dietary patterns and gynaecological cancers. Academic credentials include a PhD from QUT and a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with first-class honors.
