Bikram Baruah

Bikram Baruah is a Senior Solutions Engineer at QiO Technologies since November 2024, and previously served as a Research and Solutions Engineer at Opteran from November 2022 to November 2024, where development of a remote simulation-based tool for algorithm acceleration was led. At AMRC from September 2019 to October 2022, Bikram held the position of Technical Lead - AI, conducting research on multi-class classifiers for turbine blade defect detection, and as a Software Developer, achieved a 96% accuracy in an object detection model for a construction company. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Machine Learning Developer at AMRC, where a time-series segmentation algorithm was created, and a summer research internship at The University of Sheffield, resulting in a machine learning model with a 97.5% accuracy for predicting drug dose-response curves. Bikram earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2019.
