Alice Taylor has a diverse work experience. Alice began their career in 2010 as an AS Maths Teaching Assistant at King Edward VI Upper School, where they assisted a 17 year old student with Aspergers syndrome. In 2013, they worked as a Biochemistry Summer Research Student with Dr. Broadhurst at the University of Cambridge, where they expressed and purified the ACP domain and the AT domains from a loading module of DEBS. In 2014, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Cambridge's Department of Haematology, and also completed a Biochemistry Laboratory Project in Structural Biology at the University of Kent. In 2016, Alice became a Self Employed A Level Biology Tutor, where they were required to liaise with new students and parents. In 2017, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge's Department of Haematology. In 2019, Alice began working as a Scientific Account Manager and Research Scientist at Qkine, as well as a Science Writer and Editor at the Science Entrepreneur Club.

Alice Taylor completed their MPhil (Medical Sciences) in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia Research at the University of Cambridge from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they hold a PIL License Holder (A, B & C) from the Home Office, which they obtained in September 2017.
