Yijing Hao

Yijing Hao's work experience begins in 2013 as an Intern at the Bureau of Land and Resource. From 2013 to 2015, Yijing worked as a Projects member at Northern Illinois University, where they conducted data mining and statistical analysis on various projects using SAS, SQL, and other analytic tools. They also served as a Teaching Assistant, helping undergraduates with their understanding of basic statistics.

In 2015, Yijing joined Health Integrity, LLC as a Data Analyst III on the National Benefit Integrity MEDIC Contract. In this role, they utilized SAS, SQL, and TeraData to perform proactive data mining and the analysis of Medicare data to detect fraud, waste, and abuse. They also conducted quality checks and prepared project findings reports.

Yijing continued their career at Qlarant, starting as a Data Analyst IV on the National Benefit Integrity MEDIC Contract. They successfully identified and recovered potential overpayments in Medicare programs. They also created new templates to improve work efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, they assisted statistician and data analysts with quality checks.

At Qlarant, Yijing also worked as a Data Analyst IV on the Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC), Western Jurisdiction. They provided data analysis to identify and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare Part A and Part B data. They managed requests for information from law enforcement agencies and provided claims data and summary reports.

In their most recent role at Qlarant as Sr. Data Analyst, Yijing focused on the I-MEDIC Contract. They performed proactive data analysis to identify potential leads for investigations on Medicare Part C and Part D. They collaborated with the clinical and investigations teams to create new data models, fulfilled data requests, and provided data reports and summaries as needed.

Yijing Hao completed a Master's degree in Applied Probability and Statistics from Northern Illinois University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Yijing Hao earned a Bachelor's degree in Land Resource Management from Shenyang Jianzhu University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Yijing Hao has obtained certifications in SAS programming, including the Global Certification of SAS Advanced programming for SAS 9.0 and the Global Certification of SAS Base programming for SAS 9.0.
