Hieu Tran

Hieu Tran has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hieu is currently a Co-Founder and Vice President at QLSF Biotherapeutics, Inc., where they are responsible for Protein Sciences, Operations, and Management. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Torch Therapeutics. Starting in 2015, they served as a Staff Scientist and Head of Protein Sciences Research at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc. Their experience at AbbVie as a Scientist contributed to their expertise in the field. Hieu also gained valuable experience as a Protein Science Senior Research Associate at Sea Lane Biotechnologies. During their early career, they worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at California State University, East Bay, and as a Quality Control Analyst at Avid Bioservices. Hieu also worked as a Senior Computer Technician at UCLA and as a Research Assistant at Steven M. Hoefflin, M.D., F.A.C.S. Hieu's extensive work experience demonstrates their knowledge and expertise in the field of biotherapeutics and protein sciences.

Hieu Tran obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCLA, which they completed from 1997 to 2002. Hieu later pursued a Masters of Science degree in Chemistry with an Option in Biochemistry from California State University - East Bay, which they completed between the years 2006 and 2008.
