Erkin Isik

Erkin Isik, CFA has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Erkin is currently serving as the Chief Economist at QNB Finansbank since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked at BNP Paribas as the CEEMEA FX & IR Strategist from February 2011 to October 2018. Before joining BNP Paribas, Erkin was a Senior Economist at Fortis from June 2000 to February 2011. Erkin started their career as a Research Assistant at BOĞAZİÇİ UNIVERSITY in the Mathematics Department from June 1998 to June 2000.

Erkin Isik, CFA, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics, which they obtained from Boğaziçi University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics at the same university from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their academic achievements, Erkin Isik has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in 2007. Erkin also holds the Capital Market Activities Advanced Level Licence and Derivative Instruments Licence from the SPK – Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
