Aled Evans

Aled Evans has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Aled began their career at Gamma, where they worked in design and communications for worldwide touring agencies. Aled then moved on to Conran and Partners, where they worked as a designer, handling various design projects and proposals. At Jive Records, Aled served as the New Media Design Head, responsible for screen-based and interactive design for global music artists. Their work contributed to the company's increased profitability and eventual sale for $3 billion.

Following their time at Jive Records, Aled joined Yard as a consultant, specializing in user experience and product innovation. Aled worked with startups and established companies to provide industry foresight and consultation. Aled's next venture was at VisualDNA, where they served as the Head of Design and User Experience. Aled played a key role in developing a self-profiling tool with over 200 million users. Aled worked closely with behavioral psychologists and data scientists to turn big data into emotional mapping for companies like eHarmony, Waitrose, Pepsi, MasterCard, and Red Bull.

In 2016, Aled joined Admiral Group Plc as part of their Product and Customer Experience Innovation team. Aled piloted next-generation products and customer journeys, improving online conversion and innovating new brand and product strategies. During their time at Admiral Group Plc, Aled also worked on loans, car buying, and personal finance. After leaving Admiral Group Plc in 2020, Aled became an independent creative lead, directing design and digital customer experiences for well-known brands, entrepreneurs, and high-growth startups in various industries such as education, financial services, customer profiling, and retail.

Most recently, Aled joined Zzish as the Product and Design Head, contributing their expertise in product development and design. Currently, Aled is working as the CTO and Design lead at Qodeo, further utilizing their skills and experience in technology and design.

Aled Evans attended the University of Cambridge from 1989 to 1992, studying Architecture.
