Michael Rice

As a career Naval Officer, having served in the United States Marine Corps Special Operations, 1stForce Recon, and the United States Navy Special Operations SEAL Teams, Michael brings over 24 years of operational leadership experience to the Qoor Team. Michael supports Qoor's overall operations through team engagement, mentoring, and active leadership. His direct involvement in complex environments and an ability to maintain clear-eyed focus enables rapid and effective execution against Qoor's roadmap for success. You will find Mike side-by-side with the Qoor team, "lifting the boat."

After Lieutenant Commander Rice (SEAL) retired from the US Navy, he supported the United Arab Emirates' Government as a Program Manager based in Abu Dhabi. Michael designed and implemented a comprehensive training program for the UAE Special Operations Command and the UAE Presidential Guard to increase operational effectiveness throughout the Arabian Gulf and Eastern Africa. With over two decades, leading cross-functional teams under extremely challenging circumstances, Michael is a crucial member of Qoor's Executive team. Michael holds a BSc in Finance from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and an MBA from the United States Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

In his off time, Michael enjoys athletics including, kayaking, road bike racing, skydiving, and alpine mountaineering. He also enjoys traveling internationally with his wife.
