Homer Cook, Jr. has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Homer began their career as a Secondary Marketing Manager at United Pacific Mortgage in 2003. In 2005, they worked as a Broker Service Representative at GreenPoint Mortgage, followed by a similar role at Plaza Home Mortgage in 2006. In 2008, they worked as a Technical Support Analyst at Flagstar Bank. From 2011 to 2014, they held two roles at Cobalt Automotive Marketing, first as an OEM Marketing Specialist and then as an Account Manager II. Finally, in 2021, they became the Manager of Customer Success at QorusDocs, where they successfully exceeded 119% of the $3.1 million goal.

Homer Cook, Jr. completed their Diploma from Rainier Beach High School. Homer then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Journalism from Western Washington University. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (December 2020), Skills for Inclusive Conversations (August 2020), The Six Morning Habits of High Performers (August 2020), and Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander (June 2020).
