Stefan Franzén

Stefan Franzén has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and software development. Stefan is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Qred AB, where they lead a team of engineers and engineering managers in evolving products and systems for small business financing. Previously, they held the position of CTO at the same company. Stefan also worked as the Head of DevOps at Qred, responsible for cloud operations, DevOps culture implementation, and continuous delivery practices.

Before joining Qred AB, Stefan worked at Diabol AB as a Continuous Delivery Consultant, where they empowered and enabled developers, quality engineers, teams, and organizations to improve shippable quality and customer value. Stefan served in various roles such as Quality Coach, Software Development Engineer in Test, and Change Lead in Continuous Delivery.

Stefan also gained experience at Daniel Wellington, where they served as a Quality Coach and Change Lead, driving change across multiple teams towards a collaborative model of software testing and quality assurance. At ADDQ, they served as the Founder and Developer of the ADDQ Coding Dojo and as a Continuous Delivery Coach and Software Development Engineer in Test Consultant.

Early in their career, Stefan worked at Payzone Nordic AB, where they served as a QA Lead, Technical Test Lead, and Technical Test Engineer, focusing on achieving high quality in an efficient way with microservices architecture and frequent deployments. Stefan also worked as a Technical Support Engineer, handling technical problems experienced by customers in production.

Prior to their career in technology, Stefan worked as a Technical Analysis Consultant at Manpower Sverige, performing technical analysis to assess the risk of damage to electric and optic cables.

Stefan Franzén has a diverse education history that spans from 2001 to 2019. In 2001, they attended Nacka Gymnasium and obtained a degree in Data & Elektronik. During their time at Nacka Gymnasium, they studied Programmering A & B, Persondatorer, Nätverk, Webdesign, and Digitalteknik.

In 2012, Stefan took part in two educational programs. Firstly, they completed the OWASP Top10 program at Cybercom. Secondly, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Certificate from ADDQ Consulting.

In 2014, Stefan participated in a Test Automation course at ADDQ and obtained a degree in the same year.

Between 2015 and 2019, Stefan continued to enhance their skills through various short-term programs. In 2015, they attended a Rapid Software Testing course with James Bach. In 2018, they completed a Mob programming course with Woody Zuill, as well as a Lego Automation program with Richard Bradshaw. In 2019, Stefan participated in a Python for Testers course provided by Kristoffer Nordström.

Additionally, Stefan holds the ISTQB Foundation Certificate obtained in February 2012 from AddQ Consulting.
