Stefan Maetschke

Stefan Maetschke has extensive work experience in the field of AI engineering and software development. Stefan started their career at Siemens in 1990 as a Software Developer and worked there until 2001. Stefan then joined the Institute for Molecular Bioscience in 2007 as a Computational Biologist and remained there until 2013. Stefan then worked at Google as a Software Engineer from 2013 to 2016 before joining IBM as a Senior AI Engineer in 2016. Stefan recently joined Qsic in March 2021 as a Senior AI Engineer.

Stefan Maetschke pursued their doctoral studies in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, and Computational Biology at The University of Queensland from 2004 to 2007, successfully earning a PhD degree.
