Jen Herman

Jen Herman is a Lower School Music Specialist at The Quad Preparatory School, teaching music to 2e (twice exceptional) K-5 students. Jen has also worked as a Guest Principal Violist and Viola Substitute at organizations such as American Ballet Theatre, American Symphony Orchestra, Riverside Symphony, and more. In addition, Jen has served as a Viola/Violin Substitute on Broadway for various productions, including The Lion King, Wicked, and Dear Evan Hansen. Jen has a background in chamber music as a former member of Lunatics at Large and co-founded Clinton Hill Music School, where Jen provided affordable music lessons and offered full-tuition scholarships to those in need. Jen holds a MM in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School and a BM in Viola Performance from The New School.
