Ed Salem

Ed Salem has over 25 years of experience in information technology management. Ed is currently working as an Information Technology Support Manager at Quadax, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for managing IT support services.

Prior to their current role, Ed served as the Director of Information Technology at OhioGuidestone from 2017 to 2021. During their tenure, they developed and implemented the strategic technology plan for the organization, including redesigning the wide area network, implementing cloud-based applications, and enhancing server infrastructure. Ed also managed IT projects and built a high-functioning team through mentoring and coaching.

Before joining OhioGuidestone, Ed worked as the Director of Information Technology at Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging from 2003 to 2017. In this role, they developed the organization's IT strategic plan, managed external contractors and service providers, and maintained budget responsibilities.

Prior to that, Ed served as the Director of Information Technology at Decora Manufacturing from 1999 to 2002. Ed managed vendor relationships, implemented strategic IT plans, and established policies and procedures for employee training and information security.

Ed began their career as the PC Support Manager at ICI Paints from 1995 to 1999. Ed managed the Help Desk Support Operation, coordinated hardware support, and motivated the team.

Throughout their career, Ed Salem has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to successfully manage IT projects and teams.

Ed Salem's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Research from Cleveland State University. Ed also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Ed has obtained a certification in "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn in July 2022.
