Tony Tran

Tony Tran is an advisor and co-founder at Quadency, a unified digital asset trading platform and portfolio management dashboard for active traders and long term investors. Prior to Quadency, Tony was an engineering manager and software engineer at Blend, where they managed the high-performing Workspace and E-Close teams. Tony also served as a co-founder and CTO at Quadency, overseeing all technology including recruiting, managing engineers, and technical vision.

Tony has also worked as an engineering manager and software engineer at LearnVest, Inc. / Northwestern Mutual, where they managed a team of software engineers to develop lead acquisitions and marketing experimentation applications. Tony also held 1:1s with engineers, gave yearly performance reviews, and developed engineer career growth tracks. In addition, Tony created the first entry in Northwestern Mutual engineering blog on Experimentation Platform and created a company wide cross team tech newsletter.

Tony is skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Java, Javascript ES6, and Agile Methodology. Tony received perfect performance ratings every year at LearnVest/Northwestern Mutual.

Tony Tran studied at the University of Washington, completing a BSEE in Electrical Engineering in 2008. Theirfocus was on embedded systems.
