Gintė Petrulionytė

Gintė Petrulionytė has a diverse work experience in various fields. Gintė is currently working as a Quant Developer at Quadrature since September 2021. Previously, they also worked as a Quant Developer at Quadrature in 2020, where they adapted a model from literature for use with differently structured financial data.

Gintė also has experience as a Student Ambassador at The University of Edinburgh, where they led campus tours, provided information to visitors, and assisted with running open/visit days. Gintė also worked at the international office reception desk during their time at the university.

Gintė was an Informatics Tutor at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, from September 2019 to April 2020.

Gintė gained industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Two Sigma, where they instrumented a large system with metrics and primarily worked with Java and Python. Gintė also worked as a Facilities Administrator at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they were responsible for fire safety and general everyday operation of the MBA facility.

Gintė completed a 10-week summer placement as a Technology Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where they worked on a project using Java and ElasticSearch. Gintė also had a short stint as a Technology Spring Intern at Morgan Stanley.

Gintė started their career as a Software Development Intern at iGeolise Ltd, where they developed an independent Scala web project and later worked with the products team to improve and maintain the company's web applications.

Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant at FLEX Pre-Departure Orientation for the American Councils for International Education, where they co-taught students preparing to go on exchange in the United States and conducted large-group activities.

Gintė has a diverse background with experience in software development, technology, quant research, teaching, and student ambassadorship.

Gintė Petrulionytė completed their MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence from the University of Cambridge in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2020. In 2018 and 2019, Gintė took part in an exchange program at the University of Toronto, where they studied Computer Science and Mathematics. Before their university education, they attended Druskininkų "Ryto" gimnazija for their high school education from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Gintė studied Mathematics through distance learning at the National Student Academy from 2010 to 2016. Gintė also spent a year at Mountain View High School in 2013 and 2014 as part of their high school education.
