Sr Embedded SW Engineer at Quake Global

Jim Davis has over 30 years of work experience. Jim began their career in 1989 as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Commercial Telecommunications Corporation. In 1990, they moved to MB Technologies as a Software Engineer. From 1993 to 1998, they worked at ARK Telecom as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a satellite based communications network. In 1998, they joined Ericsson as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were a lead S/W engineer on new product development. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at Fleet Management Solutions as a Senior Software Architect, where they designed the MLT400i satellite terminal from prototype to 3rd generation product. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Quake Global as a Senior Software Architect. In 2018, they moved to WhiteFox Defense Technologies, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at both Quake Global as a Sr Embedded SW Engineer and DaviSoft Consulting Services as a Consultant.

Jim Davis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1977 and 1981. In 2004, they obtained a General Contractor certification from the California State Licensing Board. In July 2020, they received a Codility Silver Award for the Palladium 2020 Challenge from Codility.
