Alex M. is a freelance journalist with experience contributing to prestigious publications such as the BBC and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Currently, Alex is a Research Fellow at the Investor Impact Initiative, focusing on sustainable investing practices, and has recently held positions as a Summer Associate at Essex Property Trust, contributing to ESG and Sustainability projects, and as a Managing Consultant at Claremont Sustainability Consulting, where an ESG research team was created and led. Previous roles include serving as a Research Assistant at Pomona College, collaborating with faculty, and working as a Podcaster at Artifact, a startup in the podcasting industry. Alex M. is pursuing a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Pomona College, having previously obtained a high school diploma from Menlo School.
