Konstantinos Liakos

Konstantinos Liakos has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Konstantinos currently serves as the Director of Support at QUALCO since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at the same company from June 2018 to July 2023. Konstantinos also worked at First Data Corporation as a Project Manager from February 2016 to June 2018. Before that, they were a Senior Project Manager, IT at mGage LLC from February 2014 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at VELTI Athens, including Head of IT Project Management Office from May 2011 to February 2014, Senior Manager of Operations and Maintenance from February 2010 to May 2011, Application Support Supervisor from February 2008 to February 2010, and Senior Application Support Engineer from January 2006 to February 2008. Konstantinos began their career as a Software Developer/Administrator at Hellenic in February 2005 and worked as a Researcher at the Medical Research Council Human Genetics Unit from December 2003 to September 2004.

Konstantinos Liakos has a strong education background in the field of computer science and informatics. Konstantinos completed a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems from the same university in 2000. Konstantinos began their educational journey at Athens University of Economics and Business, where they obtained a Diploma in Informatics from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Konstantinos also holds a certification as a Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM) from EPI, obtained in January 2012.
