Phillip Funderburk, PE MSEE is a Lead Engineer in Protection & Control at Qualus Power Services, overseeing T&D Substation Projects for US utilities. Prior to this role, Phillip held engineering positions at Power Grid Engineering, Siemens, and FREEDM Systems Center, showcasing expertise in substation design, automation, and management. With a strong academic background in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, Phillip has also contributed to research projects and internships in radar calibration and renewable energy systems.
