Tamer Hassanein

Tamer Hassanein has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tamer is currently the President and a Board Director at Quanergy, a global leader in 3D sensing. Tamer joined Quanergy in 2014 and has played a significant role in pioneering 3D LiDAR technology for commercialization. Tamer also served as a Board Observer at Quanergy for a brief period in 2014.

Prior to their role at Quanergy, Tamer was a General Partner at Rising Tide, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm. Tamer joined Rising Tide in 2011 and has been actively involved in launching and expanding startups across three continents.
