Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang has an extensive work experience in the field of biology and therapeutics. Currently, Yang is serving as the Director of Preclinical Biology at Quanta Therapeutics since October 2021. Prior to this role, Yang worked at Prelude Therapeutics Incorporated, where they held various positions including Principal Scientist from March 2021 to October 2021, Senior Research Scientist from March 2019 to March 2021, and Research Scientist from December 2016 to February 2019. Before joining Prelude Therapeutics, Yang gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from April 2011 to November 2016. Yang's career in research began during their time as a Graduate Student at Michigan State University from August 2005 to March 2011.

Yang Zhang received a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2005. From 2005 to 2011, Yang pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University.
