Wenhua Qin

Wenhua Qin is a highly experienced optical engineer currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer at Quantel laser by LUMIBIRD since September 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure as Component Engineer at CONVERGENT PHOTONICS, where the development of high power fiber lasers and optical components took place from February 2016 to September 2023. Wenhua also held the position of Senior Engineer at AOFR Pty Ltd from January 2000 to May 2015, managing new product development and process improvement projects, demonstrating leadership in a global team environment. Earlier in the career, Wenhua worked as a Production Engineer at Norseld Pty Ltd, focusing on improving the performance of CuBr lasers for medical and industrial applications and developing a MOPA system. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Adelaide, a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics, and a Master of Science in Photonics, both from the University of Science and Technology of China.
