XI YU

XI YU has a diverse work experience in laboratory settings and the food industry.

From December 2020 to present, XI YU has been working as a Laboratory Technician at Quantgene, where they perform Covid-19 sample accessioning and laboratory tests using various instruments.

From November 2020 to December 2022, XI YU worked as a Laboratory Technician at Flow Health, focusing on Covid-19 sample accessioning and performing extraction, pipetting, and master mix with specific instruments.

From June 2020 to December 2020, XI YU worked as a Laboratory Technician at GenX Laboratories, handling a high volume of Covid-19 testing samples and conducting real-time PCR processing.

Prior to their laboratory experience, XI YU worked as a QC Chemist at Expert Pharmaceutical from December 2019 to May 2020, conducting various tests for Chinese herbs.

XI YU also has experience in the food industry, specifically as a Restaurant Manager at Fresh and Roast from February 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they ensured regulatory standards were met and prepared customer orders.

Xi Yu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology Chemistry from UC San Diego, studying from 2015 to 2019. They then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry at California State University, Los Angeles, from 2021 to 2023.
