Shoumik Majumdar

Shoumik Majumdar is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Quantiphi since June 2021, having previously served as a Machine Learning Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Associate at Boston University from September 2019 to June 2021, where Shoumik contributed to the development of the first video human action recognition dataset for domain generalization under Professor Sarah Adel Bargal. During a brief tenure as an EMPath 2020 Graduate Student Mentor at Affectiva, Shoumik guided students in creating an emotionally intelligent IoT product. Shoumik also completed a Data Engineer Internship at Genesys International Corporation Ltd in 2018. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University and a Bachelor's of Engineering in Computer Science from MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology.
