Farley Dahl has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Farley began their career as an Exploration Unix System Administrator at Esso Australia in 1991, where they managed the UNIX network, servers, and devices. Afterward, they joined Objective Corporation as a Principal Consultant, where they applied innovative technology to transform client-facing services and processes for large corporations. Farley then founded their own company, Community Connect Pty Ltd, in 2004, focusing on the responsibilities and relationships between small businesses and their local communities. Following this, Farley worked as a Customer Experience Designer at The Outside Room Pty Ltd, specializing in designing customer experiences. Farley continued to grow in the field of user experience design at Quantium, first as a User Experience Specialist and later as a Senior User Experience Designer. Currently, Farley is working as a CX Human Centred Designer at TAFE NSW. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in design thinking, customer research, journey mapping, prototyping, and usability testing.

Farley Dahl's education history begins in 1993 when they attended RMIT University and obtained a Master of Business (IT) degree. Farley then pursued further education at the Australian Retail Association, earning a Diploma in Retail Management in 2007. After that, Farley studied at Design Center Enmore, where they completed a Cert iv Design in Industrial Design and an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design between 2013 and 2015. Moving forward, they enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney, earning a Master's degree in Interaction Design in 2016 and a Master's degree in Service Innovation and Change (Mdes) in 2017. Farley is currently pursuing a Master of Creative Intelligence and Strategic Innovation degree at the University of Technology Sydney. Farley also has a Graduate Certificate in Software Design from the same institution and an Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Queensland.
