Yoshinobu Baba

Yoshinobu is a professor at the Graduate School of Engineering at Nagoya University. He is one of the foremost experts on nanobiodevices, and is involved in multiple projects in Japan at the national level. He is also chairman of Nagoya University’s FIRST Research Center for Innovative Nanobiodevices and of its Synchrotron Radiation Research Center. He is co-creator of the FIRST-sponsored Kawai Project (Research and Development of Innovative Nanobiodevices based on Single-molecule Analysis), and, concurrently, executive committee chairman of Nanobio Expo. He was awarded his doctorate in Chemistry by the Faculty of Science at the Graduate School of Kyushu University.
