Alexa Andrzejewski

Alexa Andrzejewski has a diverse work experience history. Alexa is currently working at Quantum-Si as a Scientist II, specializing in System Integration since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Scientist I in System Integration from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Quantum-Si, Alexa worked at AltaSci LLC. Alexa held the position of Organic Chemistry Lab Lead from 2020 to 2021, where they oversaw testing in areas such as potency, terpene, moisture content, and pesticide analysis. Alexa also supported and supervised employees in the Organic Chemistry Lab, drafted validation protocols, and conducted prevalidation testing. Before that role, they served as a Research Associate from 2019 to 2020, focusing on training employees, developing methods for moisture content determination, and ensuring accuracy in potency analysis. Additionally, they worked as a Laboratory Technician from 2018 to 2019, performing solvent extractions, analyzing data, troubleshooting instrumentation and sample preparation, and collecting samples for further analysis.

Alexa also has experience in Cancer Immunology and Immune Modulation as an intern at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2018. Alexa worked as a Customer Service Cashier at Lowe's Companies, Inc. in 2018 and as a Genetic Counselor Intern at Saint Francis Hospital from 2017 to 2018.

In 2015, Alexa participated in the INTEGRATED CONCENTRATION IN SCIENCE PROGRAM at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Earlier in their career, Alexa worked as a Cashier at Stop and Shop Supermarkets from 2016 to 2017 and as a Food Service Worker at Doody's Totoket Inn from 2013 to 2017.

Alexa Andrzejewski earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from North Branford High School, where they attended from 2010 to 2014.
