Mune Yamakawa

Mune Yamakawa has a wealth of experience in product operations, product building, sales intelligence and more. Mune started their career in 2011 as a Sales Intelligence at Nextel. In 2012, they joined SE Semana Economica as a Project Manager and Product and Commercial Analyst. In 2016, they co-founded both Quantum Talent and ShoppInPoints. Currently, Mune is a Product Ops Manager at Wonolo, a position they have held since 2022. At Quantum Talent, Mune uses AI to identify the best candidates to hire, reducing companies' selection processes by 30% and new hires turnover by 40%. At SE Semana Economica, they were an intrapreneur and implemented new processes for product building for content and ads, as well as supported the online and offline business strategy.

Mune Yamakawa obtained an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Stanford University to study Statistical Learning and Machine Learning. Mune also attended Datacamp in 2016 and 2017 to study Data Science, Machine Learning, R programming language, and Statistics. In 2013, they attended comScore Academy to study Digital Analytics and in 2016 they attended Google Analytics to study Web analytics. In addition, Mune Yamakawa has obtained numerous certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, Digital Analytics, Web Analytics, and more from various institutions such as DataCamp, Coursera, LinkedIn, Lynda.com, IAB, Lean Startup Machine, comScore, Inc., Cibertec, Google, Platzi INC, and more.
