Chris Johns

Chris Johns is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in software and hardware development, currently serving as Principal Engineer at Quantum since June 2019. In addition to this role, Chris owns Chris the Mac Guy LLC, providing specialized support for Apple Mac computers and home networking since January 2018, earning notable praise in the community. Previous positions include Staff Engineer at Cray Inc., where contributions encompassed Linux kernel development and hardware management systems, as well as roles at Cassatt Corporation, Cisco Systems, Microsoft Corporation, Cray Research Inc., and Cray Research (UK) Ltd., spanning over two decades in various engineering and technical support capacities.
