Ben Fatehi

Ben Fatehi has a extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Ben started their career in 1993 as a System Engineer at Intel, where they were involved in the construction of a new manufacturing building including cleanroom facilities. Ben then worked at Applied Materials/Metron and Applied Materials as a Project Manager, overseeing the design and construction of R&D equipment and coordinating labor and resources. In 2010, they joined Hitachi GST as an Equipment Owner, responsible for equipment engineering and achieving high uptime in a complex manufacturing environment. Ben also rebuilt a CMP system during a cost-saving period. From 2015, they worked at FormFactor Inc. as an SR Planarization Process/Equipment Engineer. Most recently, they have been working at Western Digital since 2020, initially as a Technologist in Hardware Development Engineering and then as a Hardware Engineer. In June 2023, they are set to join QuantumScape as an Engineering Project Manager.

Ben Fatehi received their Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Oklahoma, where they studied from 1984 to 1989.
