Chuan Liu

Chuan Liu is an experienced professional in the field of environmental engineering, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at QuantWave Technologies Inc. since January 2018. Prior roles include Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where research focused on the removal of per and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water treatment, and Teaching Assistant for courses in Water Quality Engineering and Probability and Statistics. Chuan Liu also worked as a Cleaner Production Engineer at the China Academy of Environmental Sciences, leading projects to reduce energy consumption in small and medium-sized enterprises and organizing training for cleaner production auditors. Chuan Liu holds a PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Peking University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
