Senior Software Engineer, Natural Language Processing (NLP) at Quark.ai

Mariano Crosetti has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Teacher Assistant at Universidad Nacional de Rosario, where they organized courses to prepare students for Informatics National Olympiads and increased student participation from zero to 10. In 2016, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at BrightSector Algorithms, consulting for MercadoLibre, e-commerce platform in over 18 countries. Mariano improved recall at top GMV product domains by 350%. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Google Codejam and Google Stadia, researching, designing, and implementing solutions to improve user experience, as well as extending a Chromecast’s service. In 2021, they became Co-Founder & Tech Director at Ventilemos, designing, manufacturing, and marketing CO2 detectors for ventilation measuring. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer, Natural Language Processing (NLP) at Quark.ai, developing a translation system from Natural Language to a Structured Query with 95% recall at 90% precision, and integrating the SDQ system into production running service.

Mariano Crosetti obtained their High School Diploma from Instituto Politécnico Superior General San Martín in 2010. In 2015, they obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de Rosario. In 2017, they were awarded a Friend of Fulbright Scholarship - Organized by U.S. Embassy in English Language and Literature, General from University of Central Arkansas. Additionally, Mariano Crosetti has obtained several certifications, including International ACM ICPC Coach / Professor from Universidad de Cundinamarca in 2019, Brazilian Summer Camp, training for ACM-ICPC World Finals from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2016 and 2015, JCC Speaker about Why to learn through Programing Contests from Universidad Nacional de Rosario in 2015, Training Camp Argentina for ACM-ICPC from Universidad Nacional del Sur in 2015, University of Buenos Aires in 2014, and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 2012.
