Walter Paliska has over 28 years of experience in marketing and sales roles. Walter began their career in 1991 as a Sales Manager at Mass Microsystems Inc. In 1992, they moved to FWB Software Inc. as the Director of International Sales & Marketing where they grew sales from $1M to $15M per year and grew the international sales organization from a single role to a staff of 5 with offices in Japan, Europe and South America. In 1996, they joined Logitech Inc. as a Sr. Marketing Manager, where they achieved global press recognition for ease of use in software included in Logitech's sheet-fed scanners and led the development of the World's first USB-powered scanner. In 1999, they moved to Phoenix Technologies Inc. as a Sr. Director of Marketing, where they led the definition and development of the World's first "App Store" model based on a Flash & Java development framework and drove product adoption in the top three global white-label PC OEMs. In 2002, they co-founded eStrategies Inc. and served as the VP of Marketing and Sales, raising all initial seed funding, and moving from concept to in-customer beta trials in less than 18 months. In 2004, they joined Topica as the Sr. Director of Sales, where they grew revenues from $0 to $270,000 per month through a new inside sales organization focused on a rapid-cycle sales model. In 2005, they moved to EMANIO Inc. as the VP of Marketing & Analytics, where they grew lead conversion by over 400% through SEO-based lead acquisition and nurturing programs and lowered deployment times by over 8x. In 2013, they joined Quarrio as the Vice President of Marketing. In 2016, they moved to Milestone Inc. as the Vice President of Marketing, where they reduced costs for an annual customer conference by 40% while growing attendance and yielding an ROI of over 30X, and led a full revamp of positioning to a "Software + Services" model resulting in wins with F500 clients. In 2019, they joined dotData | Accelerate Data Science as the Vice President of Marketing.
