France Lauzière

France Lauzière was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of TVA Group and Chief Content Officer of Quebecor Content in October 2017. At the service of TVA Group since 2001, she has held the positions of Director of Varieties as well as General Director of Programs for then being appointed vice-president of programming for TVA in 2006. Since 2013, she was also senior vice-president of Quebecor Content where she led a team responsible for creating, developing, acquiring, distributing and exporting audiovisual content and promoting creators here on a larger scale.

Thanks to the leadership of France Lauzière, the production of flagship programs such as Star Académie , La Voix and Les beaux malaises have notably contributed to consolidating TVA's exceptional position as a leader in Quebec television. She is also behind the modernization of the graphic image of TVA in 2012 and the recent rapprochement of the Network with younger audiences by programming series such as Pour Sarah and La Voix junior .

With the creation of Quebecor Content in 2013, France Lauzière paved the way, in this new media and digital era, for several major innovations in content creation and acquisition as well as multiplatform distribution. This approach has enabled the general-interest channel TVA, several specialty channels of Groupe TVA and Club illico of Videotron to record solid growth over the past few years, thanks to the broadcast of highly successful series such as Mensonges, Blue Moon. and Victor Lessard.

In line with her interest in content, France Lauzière is a member of the board of directors of the La Factry school of creativity sciences , whose mission is to forge creative minds in order to find original solutions to contemporary challenges. Very involved in the community, she is also a member of the Board of the Mission of Dr Marsolais , which supports families of organ and tissue donors throughout the donation process. She was also honored by the Association for Women in Film, Television and Digital Media in 2015.
