Deanna Field

Deanna Field is an experienced Children's Librarian at Queens Library since September 2005, where responsibilities include providing reference services to children and families and maintaining the children's collection. Previous roles include part-time librarian positions at Island Trees Public Library and Hauppauge Public Library, both focused on providing reference services, as well as being a student at Tiger Schulmann's Mixed Martial Arts from 2008 to 2013. Deanna's professional journey began as a Help Desk technician at Nu Horizons Electronics from 2000 to 2001, offering technical support. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from LIU Post and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Fredonia. Educational background includes completion of high school at Half Hollow Hills High School.
