Raquel Parrilla

Raquel Parrilla is an accomplished professional in library science and customer service, currently serving as a Children's Librarian at Queens Library since December 2022, after completing a Graduate Assistant role at St. John's University. Raquel has extensive experience in education and leadership through positions such as a student leader at PS MS 200 and various freelance writing and cosmetology services, utilizing organic products. Previous roles also include customer service positions at Baked by Melissa and CVS Health, alongside managerial experience at Baked by Melissa. Raquel holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from St. John's University and a B.A. in English Literature from Lehman College, complemented by divinity studies at New York Divinity School.
