Lisa Soler has extensive work experience in various roles. Lisa started their career in 2000 as a Benefits Administrator at UBS PaineWebber. In 2004, they worked as a Park Greeter at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. Lisa then joined Queens Borough Public Library in 2006 and held roles such as Office Aide I/Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Specialist/Technical Support Aide II, and Human Resource Specialist. In 2016, they joined Queens Library as a Customer Service Specialist/Technical Support Aide II and later became the Vice President of Non Librarian Professionals & IT for Local 1321 (D.C. 37).

Lisa Soler obtained a Certificate of Completion in Computerized Medical Billing from Queens Educational Opportunity Center (SUNY Queens EOC) in 2004. Lisa also has a certification in Mental Health First Aid obtained from the National Council for Behavioral Health in September 2017. Additionally, they have a certification in Computerized Medical Billing from Queens Educational Opportunity Center (SUNY Queens EOC).
