Peter Kropf

Peter Kropf is a journalist with extensive experience in feature writing and sports communications. Currently working at the Queens Chronicle since June 2022, Kropf has produced in-depth stories, covered significant political events, and attended press conferences, with multiple contributions featured on the cover of the newspaper and website that serves over 400,000 readers. Previously, Kropf interned in Athletic Communications at Queens College, focusing on basketball coverage and profiling athletes, and worked as a sports writer at the Shelter Island Reporter, where coverage included local basketball and baseball events. Kropf holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education/Youth Services from Queens College and an Advanced Designation Regents Diploma with Honors from Shelter Island High School.
