Cherif Ibrahim

Cherif Ibrahim is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in pathology and laboratory medicine. Currently, Cherif serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa since September 2012, while also holding the position of Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medical Director at Queensway Carleton Hospital since April 2019. In addition, Cherif is an Anatomical Pathologist at EORLA, Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association, since July 2015, providing services at the Queensway Carleton Hospital site. Previous roles include Laboratory Medical Director at Arnprior Regional Health and Anatomical Pathologist at EORLA's Ottawa Hospital site. Cherif's background includes experiences as an Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist with Mid Atlantic Pathology Services and a Cytopathology fellow at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, following a solid educational foundation with a Doctor of Medicine from Cairo University and a secondary diploma from Collège de la Sainte Famille.
