Duncan Ingram has a diverse work experience. Duncan is currently serving as a Data Scientist at Quell Therapeutics since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Private Tutor at Pembroke Tutors starting from May 2022. During their time at Wellcome Trust from October 2017 to January 2022, Duncan completed their PhD research in computational bioengineering. Their thesis focused on creating a framework for modeling genetic stability in engineered cell populations. Duncan developed a genetic engineering framework in Python and MATLAB, conducted experiments with engineered E. coli populations, and worked on bioinformatics gene annotation using machine learning. Duncan also published a first-author paper in Biology during this time. Duncan gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London from October 2017 to December 2021. Additionally, they worked on research projects in bioinformatics and systems biology at Imperial College London from October 2016 to October 2017. Duncan's career began with an Industrial Placement at MedImmune from July 2014 to July 2015.

Duncan Ingram completed their education in a chronological order. Duncan began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London between the years 2012 and 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the same institution from 2016 to 2017.
