Leena Souliman has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of quality control and scientific research. Leena began their career at Imperial College London as an Administrative Assistant in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Student Helper at City of Westminster College.
Leena then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, joining Benchmark Vaccines Limited as a Quality Control Scientist from October 2018 to March 2020. During this time, they gained valuable experience in quality control processes and procedures.
In 2020, Leena joined Autolus Ltd. as a Quality Control Associate Scientist, where they supported clinical trial manufacturing through QC analytical testing, including sterility testing, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and potency testing. Leena also had experience with regulatory compliance quality actions such as deviations and change controls.
Most recently, Leena joined Quell Therapeutics as a QC Research Associate in April 2021.
Leena Souliman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Aston University in Birmingham from 2014 to 2018. During their time at Aston University, they obtained a Higher Education Achievement Report. In 2016 to 2017, they also attended Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science. Prior to their university studies, Leena attended William Morris Sixth Form from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained 4 A-levels. Additionally, Leena has several certifications, including CPR from the British Heart Foundation obtained in November 2017, and a Certificate of Personal Effectiveness from Ofqual obtained in August 2009. Leena also completed an Events and Management course at point-blank in March 2009.
