Malcolm Gibb has over 12 years of work experience in digital marketing and web development. In 2007, they worked as a Web Developer at the Scottish Crop Research Institute (SCRI). In 2008, they were a Junior Developer at INPS Ltd, where they built unit tests to test database code on a patient registration application under development. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Global Voices Ltd. as an IT Manager, where they were responsible for web design, development, and digital marketing. In 2011, they were an Online Marketing Executive at Optical Express, where they managed high budget PPC campaigns, liased with suppliers, and reported on KPI's and search activity data. From 2013 to 2017, they were at iProspect, first as Head of Search - Associate Director, and then as Head of Paid Search - Associate Director. Malcolm created and developed the iProspect Edinburgh Paid Media team, and oversaw strategy and implementation for clients across retail, ecommerce, and b2b. From 2017 to 2019, they were at Storm ID as Head of Paid Media, leading the paid media team and overseeing strategic implementation of paid media strategy across a number of b2b and b2c clients. Malcolm is currently at QueryClick as Head of Performance and Paid Media Account Director, where they lead the paid media team and oversees strategy and implementation for fantastic clients.

Malcolm Gibb obtained a BSc(Hons) 1:1 in Web Design & Development from Abertay University between 2005 and 2009. Malcolm has also obtained various certifications from various institutions, including Google, Microsoft, and DoubleClick. These certifications include Google Display Advertising (obtained in August 2016), Google Mobile Search (obtained in September 2015), RAID Open Water (obtained in September 2015), Google Analytics (GAIQ) (obtained in July 2015), Google Adwords Shopping (obtained in April 2015), Bing Certification (obtained in February 2015), Doubleclick Search Fundamentals (obtained in November 2013), Google Adwords Advanced Search (obtained in November 2013), and Google Adwords Fundamentals (obtained in April 2013).
