Rolando Ruiz

Rolando Ruiz is a Senior Scientist at Quest Diagnostics since January 2021, specializing in the development of dashboards to visualize clinical assay trends and conducting next-generation sequencing (NGS) assay development and data analysis. Prior experience includes serving as an Instructor at Irvine Valley College, teaching various biology courses, and as a UC President's Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine, focusing on the regulation of nevus in melanoma. Rolando has also contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher, analyzing RNA sequencing data, and held positions as an Undergraduate Researcher at California State University, Fullerton, and Princeton University. Rolando holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science from California State University, Fullerton.
